European Population Conference 2018

The European Population Conference 2018 will convene at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium, from 6-9 June 2018

      • Submissions open May 2017
      • Submissions close Sunday, October 1, 2017 at midnight
        Central European Summer Time (GMT +02:00)
      • Acceptance notifications will be sent by late January 2018

      Submission Steps and Instructions:

      1. Theme

        • Choose one of 14 themes which best represents your submission.
        • Choose Poster to be considered for a Poster presentation only.
      2. Title

        • Title : Limited to 250 characters, including spaces.
        • Submitter Email Address: An email with a link back to the submission will be sent to this address when the title step is saved.
        • Presentation Type: If you did not select to submit as a Poster only (Theme step), indicate if you would be willing to present your submission as a poster if it is not accepted for oral presentation.
        • Once this step is saved, you will be able to access your submission at any time, until the deadline, Sunday, October 1, 2017 Central European Summer Time (GMT +02:00).
      3. Author

        • You can be listed as 'Presenting Author' on only one submission.
        • You can be listed as 'author' on more than one submission.
        • The following information is required for all authors listed on a submission: First Name, Last Name, Email Address (must be unique), Institution, and Country.
      4. Abstract Text

        • You will be able type/paste your abstract into a text box.
        • There is a 300 word limit.
        • Tables/images are not allowed.
        • If accepted, this text will be printed in the Book of Abstracts.
      5. Extended Abstract - Optional

        • An Extended Abstract is not required, but it is preferred.
        • The Extended Abstract will help Theme Convenors better review your submission.
        • You are limited to 800 words.
        • You are allowed two images/tables.
        • You may type/paste your text if you have no images or tables.
        • If you have images or tables, you must upload a .htm or .html file.

      6. Full Paper - Optional

        • Full papers are not required, but they are preferred.
        • There are no specific limits to paper length.
        • You are allowed four images/tables.
        • You may type/paste your text if you have no images or tables.
        • If you have images or tables, you must upload a .htm or .html file.
        • See the submission process for specific direction.
      7. Confirmation

        • You will have a chance to look over the submission to make sure all is complete.
        • You will be able to access your submission to make edits or changes at any time, until the deadline, Sunday, October 1, 2017 midnight Central European Summer Time (GMT +02:00).
        • Authors will be informed about acceptance of their submission by late January 2018.
